Data Justice Lab on Tour: From Prague to Leiden to Stirling

Lab members have been busy discussing their research and the concept of data justice with other scholars. Following the Data Justice conference in Cardiff, Lab co-director Lina Dencik held a panel on Data and Social Justice at the annual conference of the International Communication Association in Prague.

Lina and Fieke Jansen then attended a week-long workshop on Data Sharing for Law Enforcement Agencies in Leiden, Netherlands, before Lina and Arne traveled to Scotland to participate in the workshop New Lines of Insight: Big Data and the Analytically Driven Organization, organised by the Big Data Surveillance Project and the Centre for Research into Information, Surveillance & Privacy (CRISP).
