DATAJUSTICE project team in Oxford

The DATAJUSTICE project team will be in Oxford next week to deliver a series of talks. Lina Dencik and Javier Sanchez-Monedero will give an overview of data-driven technologies in the workplace and what it means for workers’ rights for the Platform Labour group at Oxford University on the morning of Tuesday the 13th of November. This will be followed by a public event in the afternoon where Lina will be joined by Philippa Metcalfe to give a talk on ‘Surveillance capitalism, governance and social justice: moving beyond data centrism’ at the Oxford Internet Institute.  Lina will then stay on in Oxford to participate in the public event ‘Data’s Dirty Tricks’ on Thursday the 15th of November together with James Ball and Vidya Narayanan.
