New team member joins DATAJUSTICE project

We are very happy to be joined by Eric Kind who will work as a consultant on the DATAJUSTICE project. Eric will help the DATAJUSTICE team with identifying and researching case studies across law enforcement, border control and migration management, and low-wage work. Read more about him below. Eric Kind is an independent consultant and expert in surveillance law. He is also a Visiting Lecturer at Queen Mary, University London where he teaches on criminal justice and surveillance technologies. Previously, he was Director of Don’t Spy On Us, and before that the Deputy Director at Privacy International where he broadly worked on issues related to signals intelligence and human rights. He is on the advisory council of the Foundation for Information Policy Research, the Open Rights Group and a member of the Independent Digital Ethics Panel for Policing.
