Data Justice Lab at AoIR 2020

We are delighted to be able to participate in the annual conference for the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR) which runs virtually this year from 27-31 October, 2020. DJL’s Emiliano Treré will kick things off with a co-organised pre-conference on the 26th of October at 4pm on ‘Algorithms and the future of agency’ that forms part of a larger project on algorithmic resistance. Later in the week DJL’s Lina Dencik and Philippa Metcalfe will join a panel organised by Lina together with Mirca Madianou on The Biometric Lives of Migrants. The panel discussion will take place on Thursday October 29th at 7pm.
