Lab members are contributing to this year’s Computers, Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) conference which will be held 27-29 January. The event, which usually takes place in Brussels, Belgium, is going online this year due to the ongoing pandemic.
Lab Co-director Arne Hintz will speak at the session Democratic Surveillance? The Possibilities and Pritfalls of Involving Data Subjects in Democratic Oversight of Police-use of Surveillance Technologies on 27 Janury. He will discuss, particularly, findings from the Lab’s ongoing project Towards Democratic Auditing.
Jedrzej Niklas will be a speaker at the session Violent Extremism, Vulnerability and the Limits of Confdentiality on 28 January.
